Shaking Up Mealtimes (Literally!)

- A fun idea to make salad more interactive for the whole family -

Equipment needed:
- One cocktail shaker
- Chopped up veggies, rice, pasta or whatever you fancy

Method:

1 Get the kids to spoon in whatever they fancy into the cocktail shaker. Try to include new items on offer as well as they may just surprise you!
2 Have dressings, lemon, balsamic vinegar, seasoning on offer.
3 Whack the lid on and shake. Take lid off, put your plate on top, flip over and voila.

A lovely little accompaniment to a meal or for a main. I think I love this more than my kids to be quite honest!

This is not a gimmick to trick kids into eating more salad, as that approach doesnโ€™t tend to end well ๐Ÿ™ˆ and trust is lost. I just love thinking of ways of making mealtimes fun, not just for the kids, but for the whole family...and this includes my dog!
